Allllrighty then. It’s heating up. It’ll only get warmer from here. Ah. MAY I say it — I’m looking forward to the rest of what this month brings (see what I did there? ((hint: I capitalized it for even more emphasis)).

Anyway.

I’ve got not one, but two styles in this collage here for you today. Because I am currently loving two fashion things equally: lettuce hems. And ruching. Today, ruche is reigning and I’m raining you with ruche. Also today, lettuce discuss the virtues of lettuce edges.

Btw. A lettuce edge is that crinkly, unfinished looking hem on a stretchy fabric, be it by way of a sleeve hem or skirt hem or top hem or dress hem or collar hem, that is oh so cute. And ruching is that tightly gathered fabric that creates the tiniest pleats that are oh so flattering.

Above are fifteen lettuce-edged garments and thirty-three ruched options, which makes forty-eight in total, pictured in ascending price order. And the first thirty-three pieces depicted are under $100.

Get lettucy and ruchey (both not words).
