It’s the end of an era. Or at least the end of a season. Because I will not be posting boots on the blog again until next fall (this was the last of them). This is the first official non-boot shoe post on the blog since last summer. It’s our first spring shoe post!! Exciting times.
And since it might be unsettling for you all to jump directly from boots to sandals, and also because it’s not actually summer yet even though I really wish it was, today I offer you a nice transitional shoe: the flat. But not the ordinary and basic ballet flat. The uncommon flat. The unique and different flat.
Flats of the oxford variety. And loafer variety. And sling-back variety. And moccasin variety. And embellished variety. Forty-four of such flats, pictured in ascending price order.
I’m not a fan of flats in general. You won’t catch me in any of the forty-four options above. This I can guarantee. That being said, if I had to had to had to (had to) wear a pair of flats, it would be one of these “uncommon” ones, as opposed to a basic flat eew.
