New Favorite Beauty Buys
I have some new makeup, skincare items, and other random beauty products that I've discovered over the past few months. And I love them. So obviously, I wanted to share them with you.
Like I mentioned in previous beauty posts, I don't create full beauty/makeup posts very often. Because I really only want to post the best of the best. And it takes me a while to accumulate enough awesome products to compile and share with you.
But I managed to discover twelve new beauty items that are definitely worth sharing. You shall find the photos of them below, along with a brief description about each product. Please do enjoy.
1. Bath and Body Works Twilight woods Mist
This body mist smells clean, fresh, pleasantly sweet and flowery, and is super-affordable. It's hands down been my favorite and most frequently used body mist since I purchased it almost a year ago. Prepare yourself for lots of compliments.
2. Devacurl Wave Maker Hair Cream
If you're looking for a hair cream that enhances your hair's waves and texture while still leaving it soft to the touch, look no further. And purchase this wave making/enhancing whip. I actually have hair that's more curly than wavy, but this whip works wonderfully for my curls as well.
3. Jergens Natural Glow Wet Skin Moisturizer
I've only started using tanning lotion a few months ago for the first time. And now I'm afraid there's no looking back. Especially since this Jergens tanning lotion is applied in the shower while your skin is still wet. And you'd be surprised how convenient that makes it to use. Also, the tan will look natural with this product.
4. Jelly Coil Hair Ties
These coil miracles are my new favorite/everyday hair ties. They keep your pony in place all day and pull out so much less hair than regular hair ties do. Also, they double as cool bracelets.
5. Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Concealer
Behold, my new favorite concealer. This Laura Mercier liquid concealer is long-wearing, has medium to full coverage, sets to a natural finish, doesn't get patchy or caky, and doesn't cause or worsen breakouts (at least for me).
6. Wet n wild Cushion Contour
If you're looking for a product that's even more natural looking than bronzer and also have no idea how to contour, this cushion contour is for you. I simply dip a brush into the cushion and apply the liquid product to my hairline/temple, cheekbones, and jawline for a subtle, natural contour. Oh, and it's under 6 bucks.
7. Wet n Wild Skinny Mascara
The tiny wand on this mascara ensures that every single lash of yours will get coated. This is a great everyday, more natural mascara. And my favorite part about this mascara is that it NEVER smudges or flakes. And it's not even waterproof. Go figure. And this one is under 5 bucks!
8. Glossier Balm Dot Com
I LOVE this (lip) balm. I wear the cherry one every day for great hydration and a subtle red tint. The birthday flavor literally tastes like buttercream frosting. Like it's actually delicious. And the mint balm I got for that cooling, clean, fresh feeling.
9. Glossier Lipgloss
If you're a fan of that suuuuuuper high shine, glassy sheen typa lip gloss, get this glossier one. It's epic. And the applicator is so soft and perfect.
10. Glossier Haloscope Highlighter
I love dewy, fresh, natural makeup. And that's exactly what this cream highlighter provides - a dewy, almost wet sheen to the skin. No glitter. My favorite shade is Moonstone, as it's almost transparent and provides the most natural look for my pale skin. This Glossier highlighter, and this Ciate one, are my all-time favorites.
11. Neutrogena Healthy Skin Tinted Moisturizer
This tinted moisturizer is awesome!! Light-weight, sheer to medium coverage, SPF 20, dewy/natural finish, and it doesn't seem to be harming my skin or clogging my pores. I even like this better than my trusty old Joeur Tinted Moisturizer I used to rave about.
12. Innisfree Eyebrow gel
I found a new eyebrow gel that's under $7 and is amazing- this one! I use it in the clear color, and it keeps my brows in place all day.
