Robes are a socially acceptable layering piece these days. In fact, they come highly recommended. Kimonos are really having their moment right now in fashion.

Essentially, the idea is to swap out your basic cardigan for a kimono. But unlike cardigans, kimonos can be worn all year round, even in the summer, making them an ideal layering piece.

And so, since outdoor robes/kimonos are so big right now, I decided to show you three ways to style a kimono. A silky, floral kimono.

The first outfit pairs the kimono with a cropped camisole, pair of skinny jeans, and dark accessories. The kimono adds color and vibrancy to this otherwise all black outfit.

The second outfit features the floral kimono with a simple turtleneck sweater and mini corduroy skirt. A pair of suede over the knee boots finishes off the look, along with the cutest Chloe bag and Tory Burch earrings.

Last up, the kimono is paired with a navy, velvet slip dress. A gold chain choker, gold boots, and a gold bag enhance this semi-formal, fully-awesome look.
