Okay, I get it. This trend isn’t for everyone. Punk picks and gothic garments don’t float everyone’s boat.

BUT. I feel like everybody can get behind at least one aspect of the punk trend that was all over the runways for this season. Like, you don’t have to go all out in head-to-toe corsets and fishnets and vinyl and buckles and lace etcetera. Pick one. A leather dress. A corset style top. Some metal accents. Buckles. Lace. Sheer. Fishnet. Any of these styles fit the punk bill.

Another option: Pair a gothic piece with a more feminine garment to dial down the outfit and make it a bit less dramatic.

This isn’t my most favorite trend ever. But I do love black. Especially in the wintertime. And I do love a black lace anything. So I can deal.
