Okay, yes, it's cold. Very, very cold. Obnoxiously so. Winter, I'm not amused. Even though you don't officially arrive for another six days.

If you haven't already figured it out from my not-so-subtle hints these last few posts, winter and I don't exactly get along. I hate the cold, I hate the way the cold makes the air dry, and I hate the way the dry air makes my skin dry. I want summer already. 

But it's not summer. And it's still going to be cold for a good few months. Whether I like it or not. And I gotta keep warm while the cold lasts. Enter: parka coats.

A parka is like the transitional coat between a jacket and a puffer. A parka coat isn't quite as lightweight as a typical jacket, but it's also not quite as full-on as a puffer coat. A nice in-betweener, the parka coat is.
