Shine Bright: Neons and Bolds

It's trend time. It's neons and brights and bolds trend time. Because that's what's trending. 

I like the idea of a pop of bright color in the midst of this dreary winter. It's one sure way to brighten up the day. Literally. 

If I'm being honest, I'm not obsessed with the neon trend. I haven't been into bright colors since I was 5. The only bright color or neon I can see myself wearing is hot pink or something in the blue family, like an ice blue or an electric/midnight blue. I guess I'm just not bold enough to wear all these colors (see what I did there??) 

I know, I know, this is not a smart way to convince you guys to embrace this trend - telling you I don't have a particular fondness for it. Not smart at all.

But just because I don't have a thing for this trend, that doesn't mean that you don't love it. (Did you notice that double negative right there?) If you like bright and bold colors, by all means, wear them! Now is the time to display your feelings for these hues. Now is the time to wear all the neons you'd like. Because the runways were flaunting them everywhere. And you should too.

Be bold. Wear bolds. If you like them.
