A Sea of Suede

Suede. It's a trend. A big one. A huge one. Suede is "huge" right now. 

And it's my job to talk about all the "biggest," "hugest" fashion trends of the moment. So we're gonna talk about suede now.

Suede. It's chic. It's soft. It's supple. And it's expensive. Usually. Unless that particular suede item is on sale. Or it's from Forever 21. Or it's faux suede. Or vegan suede. Or suedette. Whichever terminology your prefer. Although, my computer is underlining the word 'suedette' in red. So maybe it's not a real word.

Well, you're in luck. Because the suede dresses, tops, jackets, coats, skirts, and pants you see above aren't super pricey. Because lots of these items are faux suede. And the pieces that are genuine suede aren't exorbitantly priced either. And, of course, there are lots of options from Forever 21, where you can find real suede for unreal prices (see what I did there?). 

Designers seem to think that suede and fringe are an inseparable combination. Which is why lots of the items here are suede and fringe. Both. Not that I'm complaining or anything.

Picture a suede shirtdress with a sleek pair of riding boots. Or with black tights and short boots. YAS.
